Ginseng Restaurant (AYCE/Korean BBQ House)

Not sure why people didn't like this place. It was absolutely fantastic. Yeah sure it's older and not fancy. But the food was great and the service was even better. For only have 2 staff on the floor I think. They were great. I think they changed out grill 5 times when we were there Tuesday night.Will definitely be back.

Very nice servers and food is delicious. Servers were very accommodating and changed the grill tops whenever needed and also picked up our used plates whenever they were empty. Very fun experience and never disappoints

Went for a late night dinner, food was really well presented, everything was clean, the meat was well portioned and not super fatty and well seasoned. Staff was really friendly would go again. For the price you pay it's pretty decent. Kimchi wasn't over powering and not too.kich paste on it, but just right delicious!!! Would recommend!!

Ginseng was an immaculate experience! The price was great! And service was very attentive, I loved how they changed the hot plates periodically! Loved the options they had and the selection of food, meats, veggies and soups! My personal favourites were the fried rice, top sirloin, and the bean sprouts! Definitely coming back here to do karaoke!

Very good you gather all of your food from the buffet that you want to cook at your table. You put it onto grills in the table, and while it's cooking, you eat salad and talk lots of fun and yummy too thank you for the great service and evening

This is my favourite style of restaurant. Our server was amazing and throughly explained their buffet process as it was our first time at this location. The options were plenty full and constantly restocked, everything was super fresh and just overall a wonderful dinner with my husband. We will 100% be back !

Calm and quiet, they had the hockey game on. I usually get my grilled meat fix at gyukaku or baekjong and I'm so so happy I found this AYCE place near the H&W produce. …

We found this place looking for a place to eat Korean BBQ after trudging the trenches of our final exams, and it did not disappoint. Despite a language barrier, the waitress was patient and understanding, often visiting our table to replace our grill. The food itself quenched our starving bellies following the anxiety of wondering whether classes were curved, with the pork belly being our favourite. As an AYCE, both the meat and vegetable selection were okay, however the experience was a memorable one. After eating, we decided to go for an hour of karaoke for 30, and with a wide variety of songs made accessible with Korean to English translations, we used light up tambourines and mic’s to sing our sadness away. Throughout the experience, staff was very accommodating and friendly. All in all, a solid 5/5.
